Crab grass reeked havoc on the yard last year after we bought some Scott’s Turf Builder with crab grass preventer that was so wet it wouldn’t even go through the spreader. We raked over the worst area in the backyard and put down some seed and new lawn fertilizer with crab grass preventer and sealed the area off from the dog with some chicken wire. It looks pretty shotty, but hopefully it pays off. Also tossed down a bag of the same stuff we got last year minus all the moister that made it unusable. Hopefully the yard will be looking good soon and ready for guests.
